Spanish label Terranova Records find themselves in fine form once more with an outstanding two tracker from Japanese DJ and producer, U:ICHI. For over a decade U:ICHI has been tirelessly crafting his sound in Japan, now he finds himself spreading like wildfire through Europe with various gigs and releases including this heavy hitter.

The ‘Movement’ EP is an enchanting tale that explores ethereal and melodic terrains of techno, a signature energy from the label in its short yet successful journey thus far.

First on the agenda is “Falling In Silence”, the deep and emotive synths stir throughout, glistening, shining bright from the shadows of the body of the discerning track. Each of the elements evolving and progressing before being met with a mind bending break, prompting you to divulge in your deepest thoughts.

“Initial Move” has a certain chugging drive from the get go, the clinical drum work would undoubtedly take any dance floor up to fifth gear. Trippy elements continuously flash in and out, breathing life into this seven minute quest, the voices from deep within trying to escape the direct route of the track.

‘Weaves’ founder U:ICHI has slotted in perfectly to the Terranova catalogue, his dreamy and sophisticated productions living up to the refined ethos of the label.
